Mak kau ada modal, ayah kau ada modal

 The other day I'm talking to someone about business ideas and stuff. Usual things as I always throw ideas here and there and trying to get her to have a better mindset. Few times before things seems that I able to change some of her thinking after many drilling session which involve me talking non-stop.

Kinda proud of myself for that.

But this time its different.

She finally said it. She said, "kau bolehlah ada modal. Mak kau ada modal, ayah kau ada modal."

And I feel defeated hearing that. Because I had been saying it many time that yes capital is important but what more important is the will to make it happen.

I told her how I said to my other friend that if I give your RM1k right now, what business would you do? What you do to grow it to RM1.5k? I am willing to give you 1K right now, would you be willing to start a business now? And I get her to stop giving excuses and start to think clearly.

I told her how I paksarela my brothers to sell cakes by driving him around all small store and pump station trying to make a consignment deal when he is just a university student.

She already know all the stories, but still have that perception of me in her head. A little disappointed  of course. A little sad because I do not realized if this is how she view me all this time.

Im just gonna pray that she can get her mindset fix and stop blaming everything to everyone without doing everything in her hand first. Because that is the one thing that had been hindering her from a better life.

I do not blame her tho. She had been thinking and living in her own cocoon for the past 30 years. What can I expect to change her mindset in less than 6 months?

For now I will slow down on drilling, and that the reason why Im back here on blog because I need a place to vent and remember.
